It also comes with 11 height adjustments that let it fit on the mattress of almost every size bed. Additionally, it includes adjustable folding feet to ensure it sits at just the right height.

The cot is padded, has mesh sides that allow for more the airflow, and the mattress is made from high-density foam to provide extra protection. It's also able to be cleaned to keep it clean. Additionally, it comes with a fitted sheet that is suitable for use with the cot.

The Roomie Glide, unlike some other bedside cribs is compatible with a wide range of beds, including divans. This is thanks to the straps and clips that connect it. It can also be used as a standalone crib if it is not attached to your bed, and it's packed with amazing features that are designed with parent-baby bonding in mind.

One thing to keep in mind is that even though this crib is perfect for babies, it won't last long after your baby turns six months old, which means you'll have to purchase a bigger cot. However, overall Roanna felt that the Joie Roomie Glide was a very good purchase and she was particularly impressed by its sleek design.

John Lewis sells the Roomie Glide for PS160. Roanna thought this was a reasonable price for such an item. She liked how it looked in her bedroom and believed the grey color would work in most modern homes. However, she did point out that it's not a great idea to rock a smaller baby because it can set a bad habit for later sleep patterns.

The Tutti Bambini CoZee

The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib that was designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that is able to be easily lifted to feed your child during the night without disturbing them or getting out of the bed. This is ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during nap time and also for travel.

We love that it's made of soft fabrics with mesh sides that are breathable, which promote airflow and ease of use. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabrics that are compatible with all decor styles. Anna discovered that it was solid and secure when it was attached to her bed. The legs clicked into place and the zippers were secured to ensure security. It took Anna approximately 10 minutes to put it together and didn't require any tools. There are clear instructions, a video and a customer service number should you have any problems.

The CoZee crib comes with all the features you'd expect from a crib to your bed, including the ability to connect it to your existing bed with a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally there is an incline feature that can be used to aid babies with congestion or reflux. It can also be washed by a machine - a must for all the spills, vomit, and snot that come with a newborn baby!

If you want to keep your baby close to you during the first six months of their life when they're able to go to sleep on their own and independently, the CoZee is a great choice as it can also be used as a separate crib, changing table and toddler bed. The Chicco Next2Me Magic

This is one of Chicco's most expensive models, but it comes with a lot of features. It can be used either a side-sleeper, or a standalone crib that is suitable for infants ranging from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor with 11 different height levels as well as feet that retract to fit under any bed.

Our testers loved the easy access to the side panel that can be lowered and raised at the touch of the button. This was particularly helpful during nighttime feedings as they could reach in and pick their baby up without waking them.

It is possible to lower the side panel by itself but this is not recommended because it increases the chance that your baby will be thrown out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will remain in place when it is attached correctly to the parent's mattress.  newborn bedside cot  is great for peace of mind if you breastfeed and require frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed, including divan bases or beds with drawers. It also comes with tilting functions for babies with reflux and a rocking mode that can help them sleep after feeding. It's also incredibly large and has great ventilation due to its mesh sides.

Our testers found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, however it does come with lengthy instructions. It is a little heavier than other side-sleepers but it's easily moved from one room to another. It can also be folded into a bag for travel, which is a great option for those who want to transport it. The only issue our testers found is that the side panel didn't move as much as other models. This made it a little harder to see your baby from your bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib is a great choice for a crib that grows with your child. It's a sleeper crib that can be attached securely to your bed and can be converted into a stylish cot once your baby is old enough. It is ideal for feeding your baby at night and strengthening the bond between you and your newborn.

In contrast to other cribs for bed like the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh sides and the airflow mattress, which is hypoallergenic and breathable maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. The gentle slope helps ease reflux and colic. The zipper-down side lets you to feed your baby or comfort them at night.

The conversion kit for cots (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear directions and everything you need to begin. It took us around an hour to assemble, and was reasonably straightforward. The only issue with the instructions was that certain pictures did not have captions. This made it difficult for us to follow the instructions. However, overall it was a straightforward procedure and the quality of the materials used was high.

The Shnuggle Air is a great option for women who are breastfeeding or have had an e-csection. It allows them to reach out and touch their baby for comfort and feeding without having to leave their bed. It's also great for parents who prefer not to go through the hassle of getting in and out of a traditional cot, or putting their baby down for a nap.

The motion of gliding was found to be extremely helpful in lulling babies into sleep following meals at midday or night. The drop-down side can be easily accessible to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night and was a major draw for our exhausted test mums. Although it doesn't rock, or come with extra features like an audio system, the Joie Roomie Slide's sleek design and functional features are a welcome addition our best bedside crib reviews.
